Help Your Clients Recover from PTSD in 6 Sessions – Without Years of Extra Training
The PTSD RAPID Method is a 3-day live certification program built on 20+ years of trauma research and a 96% client success rate. It gives you a step-by-step system you can use in your next session.
You know the feeling.
You care deeply. You follow the protocols. You do the training. And still, some clients sit across from you, week after week, and nothing moves.
The trauma stays.
The panic returns.
And you start to wonder: ‘Am I missing something? Is there a faster way?’
There is. And over 500 therapists have already found it.
Why Choose the RAPID Method?
Next cohort launches March 27th. Limited to 12 therapists. Currently 7 spots available.
The RAPID Method – Your 6-Session Protocol
Retrieve – Identify the core trauma memory that organizes the client’s symptoms.
Activate – Safely bring the memory into conscious awareness in a controlled way.
Process – Coordinate with a physician to use propranolol at the optimal moment, allowing the memory to update without the emotional charge.
Interrupt – Use the NeuroWave audio system to simulate sleep stages, helping the brain file the updated memory correctly.
Deepen – Build new neural pathways through 3 follow-up sessions so the change lasts.
Result: Most clients are significantly better in 6 weeks. Many reach full remission.
What You Learn Across 3 Days of Live Training

Why This Protocol Delivers Results
(Real Outcomes from Real Clients)
As a veteran who served in combat zones, I've carried the weight of PTSD for years. I tried countless therapies, medications, and support groups, but nothing seemed to work long-term. Discovering The PTSD Solution was a turning point in my life. The unique combination of Reconsolidation Therapy and Propranolol truly made a difference, helping me process and eliminate my symptoms more than I ever thought possible. I've found peace and stability, and I'm incredibly grateful.

My life was in shambles due to a deep personal betrayal and the toll of long-haul Covid symptoms. These factors left me in a constant state of anxiety and depression, with no apparent path to recovery despite numerous attempts at self-care and different therapies. Then, in sheer desperation, I decided to try Reconsolidation Therapy, and this decision marked a turning point in my life.

I have recently completed the process with propranolol and it was absolutely amazing. I'm very thankful that I came across Tim. He has what seemed to me to be a completely fresh take and perspective on trauma and how to deal with it which allowed things to heal within me that had seemed to be stubbornly resisting before no matter how much effort I put in. I highly recommend working with him and taking the journey if you have trauma of any sort.
Dee Emma
I transitioned from severe PTSD symptoms to barely any at all. I now feel energized and ready to move forward, free from the overwhelming weight of anxiety and sadness that I previously carried. For anyone dealing with PTSD or traumatic memories, I would highly recommend this therapy.

What Makes the RAPID Method Different From Other Trauma Certifications
Most trauma training teaches you a framework. The RAPID Method gives you a protocol.
- It is based on neuroscience, not theory. Memory reconsolidation is a documented biological process. The RAPID Method works with it directly – not around it.
- It is designed for real clinical use. You will practice in real time during training, not just absorb slides. You leave with skills you can use the following week.
- It includes a propranolol coordination system. You do not need to prescribe. The program includes a complete referral framework so you can work with a prescribing physician as part of your client’s care team.
- It delivers faster outcomes. Most clients show measurable improvement in 6 sessions. That is not a promise of instant results – it is the documented average across 500+ treated cases.
- It does not leave you alone after graduation. Certified RAPID practitioners have ongoing access to Tim, the practitioner community, exclusive webinars, and the proprietary NeuroWave audio tools.
A sneak peek inside the certification
Here is what the 3-day curriculum covers:

The Person Who Built This Protocol
Tim Wheatley is a Therapist, Certified Hypnotherapist and trauma specialist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. He has worked with over 500 PTSD clients – including complex cases that other providers had already given up on.
He is the developer of the RAPID Method and the creator of Inner Consolidation Therapy (ICT). He is a best-selling Amazon author and the founder of The PTSD Solution. Creator of NeuroWave Consoliodation Soundtrack. His work is based on memory reconsolidation therapy that has been covered by outlets including Wired, the BBC, HuffPost, and Psychology Today.
Tim built this certification because he wanted other clinicians to stop reinventing the wheel – and start getting the results their clients deserve.

Course Overview
The PTSD Solution RAPID Certification Training Program
This 9‑module certification shows you a clear, step‑by‑step way to treat PTSD and trauma, using up‑to‑date brain science. You learn how trauma really works in the brain and how to guide clients toward real and lasting relief, not just coping.
The program was built from over 20 years of trauma work and more than 500 PTSD cases, including complex cases that other therapists had already given up on. You get simple tools, live support, and a full protocol you can start using in your next sessions.
By the end, you will know exactly what to do in each session, from the first intake to follow‑up after treatment, so you no longer have to guess, “What should I try next?”
Course Objectives
- Build a complete, repeatable trauma treatment system. Graduates leave with a structured, protocol-driven approach – not a loose framework – that works with the same consistency across different clients and case types.
- Establish clinical safety as the foundation. The program prioritizes diagnostic rigor, comorbidity screening, and scope-of-practice clarity before any treatment protocol is introduced. Participants learn who not to treat as carefully as they learn who to treat.
- Develop competence in propranolol-assisted reconsolidation therapy. Participants will understand the pharmacological mechanism, coordination protocols, contraindications, and the legal boundaries for non-prescribing practitioners – and will have the tools to establish a physician partnership before they see their first client using this method.
- Train participants to deliver the full 6-session RAPID treatment arc. The program does not stop at Session 1. Graduates will have practiced the full sequence – initialization through graduation – including how to manage narrative modifications, non-responders, and session-by-session decision-making.
- Integrate NeuroWave as a clinically grounded stabilization tool. Graduates will understand the appropriate framing, evidence base, and delivery protocol for NeuroWave – and will be able to explain it to clients and colleagues with accuracy and confidence.
- Produce practitioners who are practice-ready on Day 4. Between the Physician Briefing Packet, Somatic Tracking Sheet, Narrative Template, Non-Prescriber Liability Waiver, and NeuroWave Access Code, every graduate leaves with the infrastructure to see their first RAPID client without rebuilding anything from scratch.
What You’ll Master in 3 Days:
Why talk therapy gets stuck (and what to do instead)
Spotting the clients you can help most
Working with doctors to add propranolol safely
Day 1: The Science of How Trauma Gets Stuck (And How to Unstick It)
- Why talk therapy plateaus and what’s actually keeping your clients stuck
- The one memory that explains all their symptoms (and how to spot it)
- Why propranolol works and how it changes the brain’s response
Day 2: The RAPID Protocol – Step by Step
- How to guide clients safely through memory reconsolidation in one session
- How to work with a doctor so propranolol gets timed perfectly
- The “narrative engineering” technique, exactly what to say in session
- The NeuroWave audio tool and how clients use it at home
Day 3: Live Practice & Building Your Referral Network
- Practice runs with real scenarios and feedback
- How to set up your first PTSD client from start to finish
- Your physician briefing packet and liability forms
- Your therapist community access and ongoing support”
Coordinating with Physicians (We’ve Built the Bridge for You)
Many therapists worry: ‘How do I even talk to an MD about propranolol?’ We’ve solved this. Every graduate gets:
- Physician Briefing Packet — One document that explains the RAPID protocol, the evidence, the safety profile, and what you need from them.
- Liability Waiver Template — Non-prescriber protection.
- Coordination Protocol — Step-by-step instructions for timing propranolol with sessions.
Most referring physicians say yes within days. You’re not doing this alone.”
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the PTSD Solution RAPID Certification Training Program, you will be able to:
- Explain PTSD and its different symptom patterns to clients in clear, simple language.
- Guide clients through safe memory work that helps them update old trauma stories.
- Understand the brain science behind emotional triggers and use it in your treatment plans.
- Work with medical partners to include propranolol in PTSD treatment when appropriate and safe.
- Help clients handle sensory overload and big emotions using tools you can apply right away.
- Use memory reconsolidation and propranolol together as a structured trauma treatment protocol.
- Include sleep and daily routines in your PTSD care plans so change holds over time.
- Use brainwave‑based audio as a support tool to calm the nervous system and support consolidation.
- Combine all of these methods into one simple, repeatable protocol for trauma and PTSD.
- Present yourself as a confident trauma specialist with a clear system and proven tools.
Your Investment Pays for Itself Quickly
3-Day RAPID Certification: $1,485
Here’s the math therapists actually care about:
Session Rate: $150 per PTSD session (conservative; many charge more)
Client Value: 6 sessions × $150 = $900 per client protocol
Payback: $1,485 ÷ $900 = You recoup your investment in 2 new PTSD clients.
Timeline: Most certified therapists add 1-2 PTSD clients per month. You’re profitable in 4–8 weeks
Questions Therapists Ask (And the Honest Answers)
Can my license even allow me to do this?
Answer: Yes. Licensed therapists, counselors, social workers, and coaches can all practice RAPID. You’re not prescribing; you’re coordinating with a physician.
How do I talk to a doctor about propranolol?
Answer: You don’t have to figure it out alone. We provide a physician briefing packet. Hand it to your referring doctor. Most say yes within days.
What if a client doesn't respond?
Answer: Module 2 covers screening for hard-stop contraindications (bradycardia, asthma, active psychosis) at intake. For plateau cases, Module 7 covers non-responder strategies.
Can I do this part-time or does it have to be a specialty?
Answer: Most therapists add 1-2 PTSD clients per month into existing practices. It’s not all-or-nothing.
What's the actual time per client?
Answer: 6 sessions over 6-8 weeks. Total: about 4.5 hours per client.
Will this work with my existing clients?
Answer: Yes, both new referrals and existing PTSD clients can be introduced to RAPID with proper framing.
